Project “Our Express” (Chveni Ekspresi ) – International daily youth TV program (20-25 minutes). It is on the air from 2005 in Georgia. (was broadcasted on Public TV and Imedi TV) For disagreement with Imedi TV it is not broadcasted for a time. It is funded by British Embassy.

 

Project “Workshop at the Crossroads”. Joint work of Georgian, Armenian and Azerbaijanian youth in documentary film production. It is funded by Eurasia Partnership Foundation since 2006. International documentary film Festivals are held in Tbilisi in the framework of the project.

 

Georgia Initiative for the Enhancement of Broadcast Activities (GIEBTA) – sets out to develop the capacity of Georgian broadcasting organizations through the design and implementation of a tailor-made curriculum for professional training adequate to their needs and priorities in the context of modernizing civil society.

 

Project Timeframe: 1 July 2007 – 30 June 2010
Implemented in partnership with the Radio Netherlands Training Center (RNTC-the Netherlands) and Media Development Center (MDC-Bulgaria) and supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs within the framework of the MATRA program.

 

Developing the First Tri-Lingual Mass Media Portal www.media.ge
The overall goal of the project is establishing a viable system of information sharing between media representatives and other civil society actors in Georgia, and between these parties and international community global wide. The project launched in 2005 and it has 2000 subscribers. The project was financed by OSGF (Open Society – Georgian Foundation) and NED (National Endowment for Democracy).

 

Addressing the Information Vacuum in Kvemo Kartli
The goal of the project is to help Azeri population to integrate into Georgian society. The project launched in 2006. The project was financed by OSCE – High Commissioner on national Minorities. Two stations in Kvemo Kartli region, Channel 12 and Marneuli TV are producing daily local news in Georgian and Azeri languages and daily national news digests.

 

European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI) funded by the European Union since January 2009. Within the framework of the project during 17 months Internews Georgia shall film ten 20-minute documentaries to be aired through Rusatvi2 broadcasting company. In addition two young journalists of Our Express will travel to France to film a specific number of stories to be afterwards aired through Rustavi 2.
