“Eastern partnership’s initiative and civil society’s role in this process”

Discussed issues:
Participants spoke about “western partnership”, about what this partnership means, what is the aim of this partnership and what kind of opportunities does it offer 6 member countries – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine. Guests also spoke about the Civil Society forum held in Brussels in the frames of the Eastern Partnership, about its goals and programs. As it was mentioned, this program mainly aimed to support dialogue between the civil society organizations of different countries and their governments.
Members of the Civil Society from the countries of European Union and Western partnership participated in the forum.
The audience was offered the rubric “report” in which the Civil Society members expressed their points of views about their hopes in terms of getting closer to Europe.
