Fight Against Trafficking

Khatuna Sanikidze – Non-governmental organization “Women for future”. Director of the project “Social Assistance of Victims of  Human Trafficking”, manager;

Keti Khutsishvili – European Union Delegation to Georgia, projects manager.

In the rubric “Consideration of expert”, audience had opportunity to listen to  the  Head of Migration International Organization, Mark Holst. He explained, that the problem exists in the whole world , that’s why fight against human trafficking is one of the most priority issue In EU countries.

What is trafficking and what are the causes of human trafficking  , when and how a human becomes the victim of trafficking,  what does trafficking rehabilitation mean, how the European Union helps Georgia fight against trafficking – the invited guests discussed these issues during the transmission.

The head of  non-governmental organization “Anti-Violence Network of Georgia”, Nato Shavlakadze, spoke about the project “Strengthening the Role of Civil Society for Promoting Women's Rights and Democratic Reform, Supporting Rule of Law”,  implemented by the financial support of European Union
