The guests of the transmission discussed the following subjects: What is the energy policy of the country, what kind of it is? What  does the programme “renewable energy 2010” imply? What projects does EU implements in Georgia for developing energy sector?  What are the obligations of Georgia  according to European neighborhood policy EU-Georgia action plan. What are perspectives of using renewable energy in the country.

The main subject of the programme was how prioritized for Government of Georgia is to develop energy sector. Is using renewable energy resources supported in Georgia? Is the government program worked out in the energy field?

European neighborhood policy action plan requires to be implemented consecutive energy policy, foreseen  for a long time, aiming approaching common energy policy of Europe, which will include energy provision safety

The guests spoke about the steps, which were made towards this issue.

The guests  also talked about the importance of  raising awareness of  society regarding renewable energies.  It was mentioned, that annually, since 2005, a week of  sustainable energy is held for this purpose.
